Prince of Life Lutheran Church is a community of folks who are aware of God’s goodness and love, and who want to respond by trying to follow Jesus in our everyday lives. We’ve become connected to this faith family because we’ve discovered:
 |
A warm, welcoming atmosphere during Sunday worship |
 |
A community where we can ask questions as we grow in faith. |
 |
A community that wants to connect to a hurting world. |
Come explore with us what following Jesus could look like in this new millennium!
Thank You!
Thank you to everybody who enjoyed Easter breakfast and supported our youth! We served over 160 people, and $900 was given towards our youth mission trip to the Yakama Reservation in July. Great job, Jr. and Sr. Highers and parents!
Table Talk
“Table Talk” to get started Wednesday, April 18th, 7pm: If you’ve done any reading in Brian McLaren, Phyllis Tickle, Diana Butler Bass and others talking about the emergent church, join us at The Highcliffe Restaurant, 602 7th St., Oregon City for a free-wheeling discussion. Pr. Art Ellickson from Our Savior’s Lutheran and Pastor John
will facilitate. This will be the first in a series.
Monthly Evening Service - April 29th, 5:00 PM
Having trouble making a morning Sunday service? This worship is for you! A more informal atmosphere downstairs around tables, with an activity for kids. Join us!
Bible Study for Beginners - Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
Intimidated by the Bible? Afraid to come to a group because you feel your questions are too basic? This Bible study is for you! What’s God doing? What’s the basic outline? Who are the characters? What are guidelines for interpreting Scripture? We’ll meet Wednesdays, 7-8:30pm, April 25-May 31 in the fellowship hall.
