I have had the privilege and blessing of being the pastor of the people of Prince of Life since the year 2000. I was raised in small towns in the Northwest, as my father moved us from town to town pastoring community churches.

We ended up in California, and when I began university in northern California, I became connected with a local Lutheran congregation for the first time. I discovered among those people and in that worship the overwhelming love of a gracious God. I realized for the first time I didn’t need to do anything to earn God’s love- it is a gift! I realized the question is - "How do I respond to that amazing love?"

In the three congregations that I have served, my goal has been to live out that love I have discovered in Jesus Christ, among my people and in the community. It’s a love that welcomes, a love that serves the stranger in need, a love that seeks justice for all people. And that is our mission here at Prince of Life.
