Sunday Learning Opportunities

Pre-K through Sixth Grade
Sunday School for pre-k through sixth grade takes on a new look this year, full of interactive and fun learning experiences!

Children will learn about their faith through activities that include games, movie discussions, story-telling, science experiments, and cooking. Children also take part in canned food drives for the local hungry, send “care packages” to college students and military personnel, and gather for fun social events throughout the year. Sunday School is Sunday morning, 9:40 - 10:40am.

Teenagers
Sunday morning youth group time (middle and senior high youth) focuses on building support for each other, and learning how faith in Christ can be lived out in the real world. We are watching “The Chronicles of Narnia” and looking for clues on how to follow Jesus. Sunday morning group time is from 9:40-10:40pm

Adult Education and Bible Study
Pastor John leads a Sunday morning class through February 14th called, “You’ve Got Mail, (and Often It’s A Forward!)” You’ve received email, or forwarded email, that often has a religious viewpoint. Maybe you’ve agreed, or disagreed. But have you ever wanted to discuss some of the content? This discussion is for you! Bring some of your own “forwards” to discuss. Meets Sundays, 9:45am, in the conference room.

Learning Opportunities During the Week

Chick Night
A unique monthly event for girls and young women to grow in their faith in a supportive atmosphere (the name comes from Matthew 23:37, where Jesus says, “How often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings…”) Call the church for details.

Read Through the Bible Discussion Group
Wednesday evenings this year Pastor John is facilitating a Bible study for those reading through the entire Bible during the year. Come join us Wednesdays, 7pm, for an hour of great discussion of how God speaks to us through Scripture. Click here for a schedule of readings.
